Dr. Michael La Puma

Dr. La Puma was born and raised in Southern California.  He graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Zoology. 

He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Washington University School of Dental Medicine (Cum Laude) in St. Louis, Missouri in 1987 and completed his general practice residency at the Veteran's Administrative Medical Center of West Los Angeles (Wadsworth) in 1988.  His Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency was served at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in 1992. 

Upon completion, Dr. and Mrs. La Puma settled to the Central Coast, residing in San Luis Obispo, and started a family.

Dr. La Puma's personal interests include backpacking, mountaineering, hiking, and fishing.
