Dr. Matthew Dailey, DDS

I’m excited to introduce myself and share a little about my background as I begin this next chapter serving patients and providers throughout the Central Coast.

My connection to this community started years ago while attending UC Santa Barbara, and I’ve always felt drawn back to the area. It’s a privilege to now provide oral and maxillofacial surgical care in a place that has meant so much to me.

After graduating from UCLA School of Dentistry, I served four years as an officer in the United States Air Force. My military experience helped shape my approach to patient care, emphasizing clinical excellence, leadership, teamwork, and service.

Following my military service, I earned my medical degree and completed comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I then completed a fellowship in facial reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, and complex dental implant rehabilitation in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Most recently, I spent two years practicing with Arnett Gunson Facial Reconstruction in Santa Barbara, focusing on orthognathic surgery. Those years reinforced the importance of collaborative care and strong communication between providers to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

I’m especially excited to partner with Dr. Garcia, a longtime friend and classmate from our days at UCLA. We share a commitment to providing thoughtful, comprehensive care and believe that the best treatment outcomes come from strong interdisciplinary relationships. By taking a holistic view of each patient and working closely with referring providers, we strive to address not only oral and facial concerns but also each patient’s overall health and well-being.

Outside of work, my wife and I stay busy raising our three children. Whether I’m coaching a team, cheering from the sidelines, or spending time with family, I value being involved in our community. When I find a little free time, you’ll usually find me surfing, enjoying the ocean, or fly fishing.

I look forward to getting to know you and your team and to serving as a trusted resource for your patients. Thank you for the opportunity to work together, and please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.
